Tuesday's Update

The weather has continued to be glorious. This morning it was a chilly 8 degrees but by the time I was on the bike to catch up with Tony for our bike ride at 8 am it was a pleasant 15 or so.

The Computer Club was where I spent my Saturday morning providing help where ever I could. It wasn't as busy as some Saturdays so it was good. There was an interesting Tutorial on "Passwords". One guy makes his passwords by making patterns on the keyboard. He may use an inverted V and use ZDTHM. He can then mix them up with capitals and small letters. He also uses the W shape as well. Very clever.

Trish's sewing groups all joined together for the weekend and held a Huge Craft Market. So Trish was down helping at the market for most of the weekend. She was pleased to put some items in for sale and sold a bag similar to this one. There was plenty of footy on TV over the weekend too which kept me busy. The Bellvista Community Association had a newsletter drop on the weekend so I had 300 Newsletters to deliver to people within the community. The phone would ring from time to time with a computer query too. Trish did 4 hours in the Caloundra Tourist Information Office on Monday afternoon.

The wind has turned to come from the south west with morning temps now around single figures. The days get to the low 20's after a cool start, just the sort of weather where sitting in the sun in the afternoon is a great way to spend some time.

I have a laptop computer to reformat tomorrow for a friend from the Computer Club. It is a Dell Laptop so it will be easy to do. Dell computers have backup procedures then a Return to Factory Defaults option. From there you just reload the backup information and things are as good as when you first collected your laptop.

I rather enjoyed the joke below, thanks Jan!

THE WEDDING TEST

I was a very happy man. My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister.

My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight miniskirts, and generally was bra-less. She would regularly bend down when she was near me and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate because she never did it when she was near anyone else.

One day her 'little' sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome. She told me that she wanted me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.

Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word!!!!!!

She said, 'I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me.'

I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs.

I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door.

I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car.

Lord... And behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!

With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said "We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter."Welcome to the family"............................

And the moral of this story is:

"ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CONDOMS IN THE CAR"
