With recent rain the garden seems to grow almost as you watch it! The developers of our estate have installed gardens everywhere keeping the neighborhood bright and colorful. The "Bird Of Paradise" can be seen growing everywhere except in our backyard. This is about to change with a plant which has sat flowerless in the yard for 18 months at last showing a very pretty flower is about to burst forth.The lawn is growing like crazy too.
The rain has seen each of the palms across the back fence is beginning to show new fronds or 'spikes' which are beginning to open out. We have had over 180 mls of rain so far in February and only need another 20 or so to reach our Feb 'average'. The backyard is looking great!
