I spent much of the day preparing the old computer (the Dell) ready for its new home. I deleted programs which would no longer be required but I got a bit of a fright when the keyboard and mouse stopped working! Managed to get them going again though when I reinstalled a program I had deleted!

Kim Visits Us From Melbourne
Our youngest daughter Kim flew in Saturday afternoon, about 2 hours late following a 'mechanical fault'. She arrived to a windy, warm and sunny Sunshine Coast leaving some showers behind in Melbourne. Kim and Trish enjoyed "Men In Tutus" at the local Events Centre on Saturday night.
Here Sunday was hot. Our little backyard is quite enclosed so it gets hotter than the surrounding yards. The thermometre hit about 35 in the back corner today. There was quite a bite in the sun. The pool seemed the best option as you can see from this photo.
This was followed by the traditional prawns and oysters luncheon with leftovers for our evening meal. We enjoyed a few drinks too. There were some other tasy nibbles, spicy sausage, stuffed olives, cheeses and biscuits too. A wonderful meal washed down with a couple of cleansing (home brewed and therefore tasty) ales!
Then it was time to relax. A huge thank you to Irene for my pool chair. You were right, it is extremely comfortable as you can probably tell from this photo. Kim is here for 2 more days before flying home on Tuesday. I believe the shop "Trade Secret" is on the agenda for tomorrow!
